Greg & Karen have been ministering in Alaska for 22 years. They have spent 11 of those years in Homer where they have raised their two sons, Jonathan and Levi. They love the great state of Alaska and more specifically the city of Homer. Their desire is to see people walk in God's purpose for their lives and enjoy that journey.

We believe in strong families. One way we develop that is by doing things together. The Newell family enjoys a variety of activities. We love to camp, hike and fish. On poor weather days we enjoy playing games or watching movies. The church has always been a huge part of our lives and we love serving God's people.

Jonathan loves to play the piano and leads worship for Sunday services as well as in Elev8 Youth Ministry. He enjoys computors and wants to pursue a career in computer programming.

Levi loves to play guitar and drums. He plays for Sunday services as well as in Elev8 Youth Ministry. He enjoys hangin' with friends and desires to be a music pastor one day.
